My MacBook won't connect to MIT-Wireless

Unfortunately there are issues with MacBooks/MacPro and MIT's wireless network.

Answer

Please try these in turn:

  1. Check your account is correct by logging on to an MIT PC or Library Loanable Laptop. If you are told your password is wrong, check your typing and/or rest your password https://reset.manukau.ac.nz
  2. Turn off your MacBook's wireless and turn it back on and try to log in
  3. Forget MIT-Wireless and try to reconnect/login https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208941
  4. Turn off Wifi, restart your MacBook, turn Wifi back on, try to connect
  5. Check your MacBook Operating System etc. are up to date (Apple (top left)>About>Check for Updates)
  6. Move to another area of MIT and try logging in a number of times.
